Classic Yacht Association - Pacific Northwest Fleet

The Classic Yacht Association is dedicated to the promotion, preservation, restoration and maintenance of fine, old, power-driven pleasure craft.

The CYA has become a major influence in the growing awareness and appreciation of the classic motoryacht. The Association is very active with a yearly agenda of yachting and social activities that focus on the unique craftsmanship and designs of the classic era. 

Chris Craft Annual Rendezvous

The Rendezvous is held annually on the second weekend in July at the Port Orchard Marina in Port Orchard, Washington. Up to 80 boats typically attend.

The purpose of the rendezvous is to provide an opportunity for Chris Craft owners and their families to share the pride and enjoyment of the boats they love. All Chris Crafts are welcome regardless of size, age, model, construction material or condition. The focus is on fun, camaraderie and, of course, our Chris Crafts.

Seattle Police Dept Harbor Patrol

The Harbor Patrol is a specialized unit dedicated to water safety and the protection and preservation of life and property on the waters within the City of Seattle. Using the latest technology in water emergency, dive response, and fire suppression equipment, the seven Harbor Patrol boats cover 200 miles of City shoreline, 147 miles of freshwater and 53 miles of saltwater. 206-684-4071

Mariners Museum Chris-Craft Archives

The Chris-Craft name is synonymous with speed and craftsmanship.  For more than sixty years, this world-wide boating empire, founded by Christopher Columbus Smith, was a leader in producing powered pleasure boats.

The archives of Chris-Craft Industries were acquired by the Museum in 1986.  Comprising more than 350 linear feet of records, this collection is considered one of the most complete histories of a boatbuilding company.  The collection covers all models produced by Chris-Craft from 1922 through 1980.

USCG National Vessel Documentation Center

The National Vessel Documentation Center facilitates maritime commerce and the availability of financing while protecting economic privileges of United States citizens through the enforcement of regulations, and provides a register of vessels available in time of war or emergency to defend and protect the United States of America.

Port Townsend's annual Wooden Boat Festival

Port Townsend's Wooden Boat Festival is the most education-packed and inspiring wooden boat event in the world. Featuring more than 300 wooden vessels, hundreds of indoor and outdoor presentations and demonstrations, a who's who of wooden boat experts and thousands of wooden boat enthusiasts, there's something to do, someone to meet or a boat to board at every turn. Expanded a little each year, the festival honors its traditions while inviting energetic debate and demonstration about the latest innovations in boatbuilding, equipment, skills and adventure.
